19th C. Venetian mirror with a heavily carved and hand-painted frame. The wood is richly detailed with scrolls, acanthus leaves, and floral motifs, all contributing to a dramatic silhouette. The surface of the frame is painted in a soft, aged greenish tone, with scattered hand-painted flowers in delicate colors, giving it an expressive and decorative feel. The mirror glass is aged with visible signs of wear and spotting, consistent with antique mercury glass.
