19th C. Italian Baroque style mirror with an oval shape.  The mirrors features an ornate frame made of wood with intricate carvings of scrollwork and floral motifs.  The design includes prominent flourishes at the top, bottom, land sides, with a weathered, distressed finish.  The color of the frame is a mix of earthy tones, such as faded gold, brown and white.  The mirror itself is also aged and slightly darkened.  This piece has the unique ability to be used either horizontally or vertically.
