A heavily textured, encrusted finish in soft putty and sand forms the base, over which washes of misty ocean blue, aqua, and seafoam have been layered and naturally weathered. The finish is dramatically distressed with eruptions of dark chocolate, mocha, and rust-brown peeking through where the outer layers have pitted, chipped, and flaked away — a detail seen perfectly in your close-up macro shots. The surface is rough, pitted, and tactile, mimicking ancient frescoes exposed to sea and time.
