The front face presents the iconic Fortuny Oneiroi pattern-color urban fog & silver. The fabric is a masterpiece of Venetian craftsmanship: a luminous, watercolor-like ground in soft sage / eucalyptus cotton, overprinted with an intricate, historic 13th-century Byzantine arabesque in raised, shimmering gilt gold. The motif features interlaced Moorish palmettes, scrolling vine, and delicate rosettes, arranged in a sophisticated quatrefoil lattice. Every Fortuny fabric is still printed by hand, one at a time, in the original factory on the Giudecca Island in Venice, Italy, using secret techniques and antique wooden blocks invented by Mariano Fortuny over a century ago. No two pieces are identical.
