19th century pair of ornate gilded relicquaries made of brass with a gilt finish. The feature highly decorative Baroque or Rococo-style detailing, including intricate scrollwork, floral motifs, and cherub faces at the base. Each piece has an oval glass compartment at its center, which traditionally would hold a relic or sacred image. At the top of each relicquary is a small cross, reinforcing their religious significance. The symmetrical design, with elaborate flourishes and acanthus leaves extending outward, enhances their grand and ceremonial appearance. The sturdy pedestal bases are adorned with rich detailing and provide a solid foundation, making these suitable for display on an altar or sacred space.
