Pair of 18th Century Italian Baroque Giltwood Table Mirrors

Each features a masterfully carved frame with scrolling acanthus, foliate volutes, and a pierced floral and shellwork crest with central rosette. The wood retains its original water-gilding with beautifully distressed patina, age cracks, and gesso showing through.

Fitted with their original mercury mirror plates, now with delightful antique foxing, speckling, and ghosting that collectors covet. The reverse shows original construction and old inventory labels.
