Each pillow is crafted from a sumptuous French blue cotton velvet - soft, luminous, and richly textured. At its heart lies a magnificent 19th Century Antique French Gold Metallic Appliqué, salvaged from a period ecclesiastical or aristocratic textile. The appliqué is hand-embroidered with coiled gilt thread, bouillon, and raised antique chenille, creating a sculptural, three-dimensional Baroque motif that glitters with age and authenticity.

Each antique appliqué has been meticulously hand-stitched onto the velvet by hand, preserving its centuries-old craftsmanship while giving it new life. The close-up details reveal the incredible handwork of the original French atelier.

Finished with bespoke velvet pom-pom fringe in matching French blue, hand-sewn with artisanal precision, and backed in the same solid blue velvet for a luxurious, double-sided presentation.  Down inserts and hidden zippers.
