Designed by Melissa Levinson for Miamar Home, this monumental dining table is a sculptural celebration of Spanish Baroque artistry reimagined for the modern connoisseur.
A study in commanding elegance, the table features a thick, live-edge plank top of richly figured walnut, showcasing the timber’s natural cathedral grain and warm caramel-to-chocolate tonal variations. The hand-rubbed oil finish enhances the wood’s organic movement while preserving its raw, tactile authenticity.
The true drama unfolds below: hand-carved lyre trestle bases with fluid, scrolling silhouettes rise to support the top, joined by a serpentine stretcher carved in an undulating cloud motif. Each curve is masterfully executed, evoking the opulence of 17th-century Spanish monasteries while maintaining a contemporary lightness. Original iron bolt detailing adds an element of industrial refinement.
With seating for 10-12 guests, this is more than a dining table. It is a legacy piece—an anchor for grand celebrations, intimate gatherings, and the quiet beauty of daily life. Signed by its craftsmanship and soulful design, it embodies Miamar Home’s ethos: timeless forms, noble materials, and a reverence for artisan tradition.
