A rare and exquisite Venetian Rococo-style pierced settee, a true sculpture in wood, embodying the ethereal romance of 18th-century Venice.

This exceptional bench captivates with its extraordinary openwork carving. The entire frame is a tour-de-force of hand-carved artistry — the backrest, arms, and crest are composed of intricate, lace-like rocaille scrolls, C-scrolls, and acanthus foliage, each pierced through to create a light, airy, almost floating silhouette. The crest is crowned with a beautifully carved floral cartouche and undulating Rococo crest rail.

The frame has been masterfully stripped and finished in the highly coveted bleached, raw oak effect, celebrating the natural grain and sculptural quality of the wood — the most sought-after finish for this style by designers today. The carvings continue down to the elegantly curved cabriole legs, adorned with carved foliate details, lattice cross-hatching, and scrolled feet.
