Monumental size French painted Rococo-style mirror. The frame is ornately carved with intricate detailing. The top features a decorative crest with an elaborate shell motif, flanked by two scrolling elements adorned with leaf-like carvings. The bottom has an elegant floral and scroll motif. The wood frame has remnants of gold leaf and painted detailing giving it a weathered, patinated look. The mirror itself has significant aging and distressing, with dark oxidation spots and clouding.
