Early 19th century Italian walnut cassone. It has two carved lion paw feet in the front. The carving depicts a center cartouche flanked by two scrolled vines ending in center flowers. There are two figures on either side of the piece. The walnut has developed a beautiful patina over the years. There is plenty of storage inside for your convenience.
