A striking pair of gilt and patinated brass candelabra, converted for electricity, each designed with exuberant naturalistic foliate branches issuing candle-form lights. The scrolling branches are adorned with finely detailed grape clusters, leaves, and wheat sheaves, symbolizing abundance and harvest. The bases are cast with acanthus and foliate ornament, raised on pierced tripod feet with scrolled edges. The candelabras retain a beautiful aged patina with warm highlights to the gilding, lending depth and character to the surfaces. Each candelabra accommodates multiple lights in a tiered arrangement, rising in height to create a dramatic, tree-like silhouette.
