19th Century French Articulated Artist’s Mannequin Wooden Dolls, Male & Female

Mid-19th century very rare and finely carved French wood artist mannequin figures of both a male and a female with fully movable joints. All-wooden mannequins with rich patina has intricate articulations including visible ball-jointing at throat, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, hips, knees and ankles, and with unusually detailed faces. The pair of mannequins have been mounted on modern Lucite bases and would work beautifully in almost any style decor.
